ESL Volunteer Opportunity
Join Fort Bend Care Center ESL program as a volunteer this school year!
We are seeking volunteers for two roles:
English Conversation Tutors (Wednesdays, 9:00–10:00 a.m.)
Help adult English learners build confidence in speaking by facilitating level-appropriate, practical conversation activities that you design.
ESL Tutors (Wednesdays, 10:00–11:30 a.m.)
Teach English using the Side by Side curriculum and Teacher’s Guide, helping students develop their grammar, reading, writing, and speaking skills.
Program Schedule
- Dates: September 9 – May 19
- Day: Wednesday mornings
- We follow the FBISD school calendar for holidays and breaks.
No previous teaching experience is required—just a willingness to encourage and support English adult learners. Training and curriculum materials will be provided.
